I knew I’d enjoy working with Strada the moment I met Mark Kelly a couple of years ago at WOMEX, in A Coruna, Spain. Was it the whiskey, or the laughter ? Or was it looking at their already incredibly talented roster of artists, or the depth of experience of the agents? I knew that this is where my client Guy Davis belonged. Mark told me my timing might be right, as they were expanding and they might be taking on a couple of new agents. They did expand, but I was a little nervous, as Mark wasn’t going to be our responsible agent.
We were being handed off to this new guy Rob, that I didn’t know or even met. However, this newness for all of us would be a huge blessing as he and I got to know each other, and Rob got to learn all about Guy’s talents. It turns out, not only is Rob Heron a dedicated and hard worker, he is also a gifted musician himself, and this gives him a solid and unique perspective on the life of a touring musician. I don’t think Mark is known for his singing. LOL
Equally as important to Guy and myself is the concern that Strada shows for the presenter and their bottom line. It’s not really a business if everyone isn’t making money in the long run. And while art is art, and business is business, Strada is where art and business unite in a trusting, caring place.

I both advanced the Performance and Duty Managed the evening. The company were responsive to my emails and worked with the venue to advance the show in a timely manner.
The Artist’s and their whole team were a pleasure to work alongside. Even when we had a technical fault they were calm, understanding and easy to work with to find the solution. After that the Gig ran like a dream and audience came out full of cheer and tired legs from dancing!
