KAI WILKS – Marketing Officer
Kai Wilks is a musician, producer and creative based in Brighton. Raised in Japan before relocating to England at the age of nine, Kai grew up immersed in live music through his father’s involvement in the traditional folk scene – attending folk festivals, sessions, and watching touring artists pass through the family home from an early age. His father ran the Whitchurch Folk Club from the village hall next door. That upbringing gave him a deep and genuine connection to the world of live and touring music that has stayed with him ever since.
As a musician, Kai fronts Brighton-based band Cutflowers, with whom he writes, records and performs across the south of England. His creative work spans music production, songwriting, video and photo editing, and graphic design. He joins Strada as Marketing Officer, bringing that creative range alongside a real passion for the artists and industry he has grown up around.
