Mary Gauthier

TOURING:    17 October – 9 November 2025

With songwriting as powerful as hers, there’s no need to go looking for qualifiers. She’s a unique, intrinsically valuable musical voice. And there’s never a surplus of those.”Randy Lewis, Los Angeles Times

Mary Gauthier is a Grammy-nominated American folk singer-songwriter and author, whose songs have been covered by performers including Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Kathy Mattea, Boy George, Jimmy Buffett, Bettye Lavette, and many more. She has won awards from the Americana Music Association, International Folk Music Awards, the Independent Music Awards, the GLAMA Awards, and the UK Americana Association. Her songs have been placed in film and TV, including “Yellowstone” and “Nashville”.

Her latest record, “Dark Enough to See the Stars”, returns Gauthier to the confessional mode similar to her breakthrough releases, “Mercy Now”, and “Drag Queens in Limousines.” Gauthier has never shied away from difficult self-exploration. Gauthier’s songwriting brilliance always offers beauty in sorrow, healing in loss, and a perspective only an artist of uncommon generosity can give.

“The performance epitomized everything attracting you to exceptional songwriting”  Three Chords and the Truth UK

“It was a testament to how highly tonight’s headliner is held that, well before the doors were due to open at 7.00pm, the queue for entrance stretched well down the street…..over the last twenty years Mary Gauthier has become recognised as one of the finest singer-songwriters of our time ”  Americana-UK
